The under hung rear parking sensors for motorhomes: These are ideal for Motorhome sensors when you do not have a suitable bumper to mount them on, or too much of a curve on the rear of the vehicle, or do not want drilling into the main body.

The rear parking sensors for motorhomes: these are ideal for Motorhome sensors when you have a clear space or bumper on the vehicle for these to be neatly installed into.

How do the front sensors work?:Out of the box they come with a small green switch which we fit to an empty blanking plate on the vehicle. When you want to use the front sensors you press this switch. The sensors will then stay on if an object is in range, if no object is in range for 30 seconds the sensors will turn themselves off. This method means you have no unwanted false alerts.
Alternatively you can upgrade to the CANBUS module which will mean you will have no switch, and the sensors will come on when you brake below 6mph. The advantage is you do not have to remember to turn them on. Possible downsides are that the sensors will not know if you are parking or not, so can go off if an object is in range, even during driving if you are below 6mph.
SensorsParking Sensors are a fantastic added aid to your parking, you will still of course need to use your own judgement, eyes and mirrors, but parking sensors work as an aid to support this. They will always pick up solid objects, but may not pick up fences with gaps, poles, bollards, kerbs or other small or non-solid objects, which may fall between the ultra-sonic detection range. Also, change of incline, on some vehicles can cause alerts on rare occasions.
Maintenance:The sensors leave the paint lab with a prime undercoat, between 1 to 2 layers of colour coding paint are bake dried and have a protective spray applied.
Over time, due to weather conditions and cleaning, this protective spray may come off and you may experience unexpected alerts in wet weather, this is not a worry or a fault, you just need to ensure the sensors are dry and apply a small spray of a water repellent to protect the sensors from water sticking.
The sensors should never be machine washed or pressure washed, they must always be hand washed, the powerful machines and pressure washers can damage the sensors and seals and leave them open to damage and water ingress.

*AVR Mobile Fitters offer a 12 month parts warranty directly to our customers, however these sensors also have a manufacturer warranty for 3 years on parts. For most cases we can facilitate this for our customers, alternatively the warranty for parts can be requested direct with the manufacturer.

All warranty claims are based on the parts developing a fault as deemed by the manufacturer as faulty and does not cover damage, wear and tear, or any other non-warranty fault related problem. After 12 months any parts deemed faulty under warranty would be changed as per the warranty above, but our standard call-out charge/labour charges would apply.

Delivery and Fitting

DELIVERY

We offer FREE DELIVERY on all orders – to the United Kingdom only.

When you order online from us, we aim to process all orders within 24 hours Monday – Friday. Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery. We will use a tracked delivery service to deliver your product and it may require a signature. Please note some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer.

INSTALLATION

If we are coming to install your product for you, it will be delivered to you before your installation date, unless you have purchased van locks, which our fitter will bring with them. Please let us know 48 hours (Monday to Friday 09.00-17.30) prior to your installation if your products have not yet arrived.

RETURNS

If you wish to return an item to us, please call us on 01923 200930 for a return authorisation code. The item must be sent within 14 days of receipt to the address below with the return code clearly marked on the package:
