Nokia
CK-7W with charging cradle
Versus Nokia CK-10
Why
is the Nokia CK-7W a better option than the Nokia CK-10?
•
It
has it’s own separate microphone as opposed to one built
in the cradle – The CK-7W has a separate
dedicated microphone professionally installed which is of
far superior quality to the CK-10, which has a built in microphone
as part of the cradle.
• All wiring is professionally hidden as opposed
to coming out from the cradle – The
CK-7W has its own dedicated junction box where all the wiring
goes and is hidden. This goes behind the dashboard. The CK-10
has no junction box, so all wiring and wires are plugged into
the base of the cradle and lead from there, meaning the CK-7W
is a much tidier installation
• Fits all the same cradles
– The CK-7W supports all the same cradles that the CK-10
does. This means the CK-7W can have changeable cradles and
works with a wide range of Nokia phones all connected to a
dedicated aerial.
• Also supports Bluetooth
if required for phones that may not have cradles
– If at a later date you change your phone to a Nokia
phone that does support Bluetooth, but does not have a cradle,
then all is not lost. You can use the CK-7W as a Bluetooth
car kit without any extra cost of changing your car kit. This
makes the CK-7W a far more universal car kit than the CK-10.
• Supports optional control button
- The CK-7W supports an optional control button which is the
size of a ten pence piece. It sits on the dashboard and helps
control calls, voice dialling & volume control. This is
not available with the CK-10.
In
our opinion, for quality and future handset compatibility
there is only one Nokia car kit to go for - The
Nokia CK-7W with cradle
