The Nokia CARK-134 Handsfree Car Kit holds your phone in place while recharging the battery. The Nokia CARK-134 also provides handsfree with a separate microphone and speaker with excellent two-way (duplex) voice quality.

Antenna
The Nokia CARK-134 Hands Free Car Kit requires the connection of an external antenna. However, Nokia does not provide external antennas for the car kit due to the number of different types and applications.  We can advise you of the type of external antenna that will best support the system and terrain in your area. 

Car Radio Mute
The Nokia CARK-134 Hands Free Car Kit has a Car Radio Mute feature which mutes the car radio during a phone call.  It is not a user-selectable feature, but it is always enabled when Car Radio Mute is connected. Please note that the Car Radio Mute option might not interface with certain car stereos due to differing electronics. 

Tele-Mute
To enable your calls to be heard through your car's stereo speakers, you will need a tele-mute loom to be installed with your Nokia CARK-134 Hands Free Car Kit.  This also mutes the car radio during a phone call.  We will advise you which type of tele-mute you require for your model of car. Please note that the tele-mute loom may not work with some car satellite navigation systems.

Mounting Brackets
A mounting bracket can be used to attach the cradle of your Nokia CARK-134 Hands Free Car Kit to your dashboard. This means that we won't need to drill the interior of your car to mount the cradle, so you won't have any unsightly holes in your dashboard should you ever need to have the car kit removed.
