Tele-Mute (Audio Loom)

The mobile phone can be placed anywhere in the car and still make an instant and secure connection for crystal clear conversations. The Motorola HFW8000's stylised back-lit control panel allows users to interface and operate key features such as mute, voice recognition with 100 voice tags and volume adjustment.

Internal voice dialling capability with up to 100 names and phone numbers (requires phone that supports voice dialling) and is also compatible with Bluetooth phones that don't support voice recognition.

The Bluetooth connection automatically activates when the ignition is on and can even stay connected while the ignition is off.

Car Radio Mute
The Motorola HFW8000 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit has a Car Radio Mute feature which mutes the car radio during a phone call. It is not a user-selectable feature, but it is always enabled when Car Radio Mute is connected. Please note that the Car Radio Mute option might not interface with certain car stereos due to differing electronics. 

Tele-Mute
To enable your calls to be heard through your car's stereo speakers, you will need a tele-mute loom to be installed with your Motorola HFW8000 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit. This also mutes the car radio during a phone call. We will advise you which type of tele-mute you require for your model of car.  Please note that the tele-mute loom may not work with some car satellite navigation systems.
