The instant a mobile police speed trap has been spotted all other Snooper LYNX GT users in the area will be notified. The Snooper LYNX GT is updated automatically, all new camera positions will be sent to you wirelessly. No downloading via a PC or internet connection is necessary.

Wireless ‘Real Time’ speed camera updates – No PC required

The Snooper LYNX GT GPS speed camera detector / speed trap detector with GPRS brings you live information. The Snooper LYNX GT uses the Snooper AURA Live database and the information is delivered to the Snooper LYNX GT automatically using GPRS technology. The Snooper AURA database sends speed trap positions to your Snooper LYNX GT wirelessly wherever you are; this limits your chances of missing a camera. New camera positions will be sent to your LYNX GT literally seconds after they have been added to the Snooper AURA database.

If another Snooper user sees a mobile speed trap or hazard they can share this information at the touch of a button. You will then be alerted to mobile speed traps such as laser – This is the first time a GPS speed trap locator has been able to do this.

Tracking & Reporting

The Snooper LYNX GT GPS & GPRS speed trap detector / speed camera detector can operate as a portable tracking and reporting device. The Snooper LYNX GT Air Time agreement will provide you with access to a secure, password protected website. You can track the position of the Snooper LYNX GT at any time, view current and historical journey reports as well as other useful information including average speed, as well as daily, weekly and monthly mileage reports.

Voice Alerts

The Snooper LYNX GT comes with selectable voice alerts. The voice alerts allows your Snooper LYNX GT speed camera detector to inform you precisely what type of location you are approaching without you having to have your eyes distracted from the road. The Snooper LYNX GT speed trap detector indicates the speed limit for that particular location making your driving experience a safer one.

Snooper LYNX GT Airtime Contract

To provide you with up to the second, real-time, wireless updates the Snooper LYNX GT requires an airtime contract.

The Snooper LYNX GT has the following reduced pricing

Monthly - £7.99 including VAT.
Quarterly - £22.99 including VAT.
Annually - £86.99 including VAT.

Minimum contract is 12 months. Airtime contract provides your Snooper LYNX GT with real time fixed speed camera alerts and updates. In addition the Snooper LYNX GT will allow the user to share mobile speed trap positions with other users and receive mobile positions from other users. Please note that the Snooper LYNX GT, like your mobile phone will not operate without an airtime contract.

Unlike AURA, many other GPS databases rely largely on locations provided by hobbyists who might not be able to tell a speed camera or a red light camera from a traffic flow camera or a surveillance camera.
