If your vehicle is stolen, you must first report the theft to the Police and obtain a crime reference number. Once you have the number, call the Smartnav PA on the dedicated RAC Trackstar phone line. The PA activates the GPS tracking function in your vehicle’s Smartnav unit, which then tells Smartnav the car’s exact location every 20 seconds. Smartnav continuously update the Police with the vehicle’s location to help them recover it.
